1.How is everything?
Everything is GREAT!!!!! Just living life and taking things one day at a time.
2.So you been rapping for a while tell fans how long you been rapping?
Where should I start? I began rapping just for fun w/ my cousins when I was in middle school when we thought we were in a little group. They were the singers and I was the rapper.
3.When did you start taking music serious an wanna become a artist?
I started taking music seriously in 2007. I’ve always written poetry so it wasn’t hard for me to put the pen and pad to work.
4.Whats your favorite thing about being a artist & worst?
My favorite thing about being an artist is being able to express my feelings through what I love doing and showing off my talent. The worst things about being an artist are all the rumors, drama, hating and being underrated b/c I’m a female!!!
5.So whats the biggest lesson you've learned from very start to now?
The BIGGEST lesson that I’ve learned would have to be “DON’T LOSE FOCUS” b/c those who envy you want to see you fail.
6.I saw your mixtape online & checked it out,tell fans the name of it? My mixtape is entitled “Xposed” hosted by DJ New Era
7.How was it recording the project?
I had lots of fun doing this project, but at the same time it was stressful b/c I had to balance work and other personal time as well.
8.What features do you have on the project?
I have Kenn J, Dozier, Naimah (Joka), Cane Carter, Lil Chappy, B.G., Miss Mahogany, D Eagle, Pretty Black, One Hunid, Fat Boi & April (DTC).
9.How are fans responding to the project?
A lot of my fans have told me that it’s what they expected and they’re ready for another project.
10.Whats hardest thing about being a female emcee?
Wheeeeewwwww!!!!! Well us female artists are overlooked and underrated!!!! Like I’ve always said “Most femcees spit harder than most mcs in the game.” One day it we will take over the game.
11.What other things you got going on outside of rap?
Right now I’m just working and keeping my eyes open for bigger and better opportunities.
12.Name something no one knows about Mz.Tek?
I’m not ALWAYS a bitch!!!! I have a cool and calm side.
13.Best & Worst thing about you?
Best: I’m not selfish and I’m willing to help anybody in any way that I can. Worst: I have a quick, hot temper.
14.How would you define the music business in Bham?
5 words: “WE NEED TO STICK TOGETHER!!!”
15.Whats coming up next or soon for you?
I’m about to start working on “Xposed II” and an internet show. Also be on the look for my website.
16.Any shout-outs?
Of course,First of all s/o to my baby Flip & Bham Music Blog. S/O to everybody in the Bham music business that’s on the grind…whether you’re an artist, DJ, promoter, manager, hype man, etc. Last but not least s/o to my HATERS!!!
